How can I fix common login or sync errors?
If you're having trouble connecting to Facebook, loading your game, or setting the game up on a new device, please follow the relevant guide below:
What should I do if the game is stuck on the loading screen?
If the loading bar gets stuck, it usually indicates a temporary connection issue. To get back to Orchid Island, please try these steps:
Refresh your internet connection: Ensure you have a strong signal. Try switching from Wi-Fi to Mobile Data (or vice versa). Even if other apps work, June's Journey requires a high-quality connection to download assets.
Restart the game: Close the app or browser tab completely and restart it.
Clear your cache:
Android: Go to Device Settings > Apps > June's Journey > Storage > Clear Cache.
iOS: Close the app fully and restart your device.
Browser (e.g., Safari, Chrome) for junesjourney.com: In your browser settings, go to Privacy and Security and delete browsing data (specifically, cached images and files).
Check storage space: Ensure your device has at least 2GB of free space. You can check the full minimum requirements in our Device Specs FAQ here.
Why won't my game connect to Facebook?
Check your browser login: Ensure you are logged in to the correct Facebook account on your device's default web browser (e.g., Safari, Chrome) and on the Facebook app before opening the game.
Verify permissions: In your Facebook settings (under "Apps and websites"), ensure June's Journey has permission to access your profile.
Update both apps: Ensure both June's Journey and the Facebook app are updated to the latest versions in your app store.
Why is my progress not showing up on my new device?
To successfully move your Orchid Island, ensure you are using the correct account:
Confirm the connection: Open June's Journey on your old device and check the "Social" tab in settings. It must show you as "Connected" to Facebook, Apple, or Google for your progress to be saved on our servers.
Use the correct credentials: You must log in with the exact same credentials on the new device. A different Facebook profile might show you a new game, or different progress.
Same platform sync: Remember that Google ID and Apple ID only work within their own ecosystems (Android-to-Android or iOS-to-iOS). To move between different platforms (e.g., from iPhone to Android), you must use Facebook.
What if I still can't access my game?
If these steps don't work, please contact us. Note your User ID; if possible, take a screenshot of your User ID, a 12-digit combination of letters and numbers found at the bottom of the loading screen or in the settings menu. This number is the only way for our Support team to manually recover your account!
